After this product, I didn't need much, not even a finishing spray. It worked really well on that hard to address demo: a lot of hair, but not very thick hair.   • Then add a few drops of light to medium oil in the middle of your head and finger comb that through too. (I like Herbal Essence's Oil Elixir, which smells great, and absorbs well, and sunflower seed oil.) I recommend putting leave-in moisturizer in your hair when it's soaking wet (like at the beach!) and finger combing it from the scalp, pulling most of the moisturizing product to the middle and ends of the hair.

    I can't emphasize enough how important the moisturizing process is for achieving curly beach waves.
